Moonlight Concept Store

November 1st 2023 we proudly launched our brand new Moonlight Mountain Gear Concept Store in the heart of Åndalsnes in the wild Romsdalen valley.

Our home valley - your dream valley

Romsdalen was not a random choice for our headquarters and Concept Store. The valley is surrounded by some of Norway's most alpine and jagged peaks, providing an excellent starting point for any alpine adventure you can imagine. From our Concept Store you can see the spires of Trolltindan soaring over the legendary Troll Wall, Europe's tallest vertical rock face. Look east and you'll see Kyrkjetaket, a beautiful mountain for ski touring, with its perfect south facing slope.

These surroundings inspire and motivate us to always develop and push our limits, and we welcome you to visit our store and share your passion for outdoor adventures with us.

In the store you will find our entire collection of skis, lights and accessories. It doesn't matter if you need a headlamp for a climbing trip or skis for knee deep powder - We have your needs covered. We also stock bindings from PLUM and skins from Pomoca, and can have your new skis mounted in no time. 

We have Moonlight demo skis in all lengths and sizes. Bring your own boots and try a pair of our skis for a day. If you decide to buy a pair, we will deduct the rental cost from the price!
Here you can also try all our headlamps to see which one best suits your needs. By testing both headlamps and skis before purchase, you can be sure that you are making the right choice. A more sustainable way of shopping.

We want to be more than just a store - you´re always welcome, even if you just want a cup of coffee, a snack or simply a chat. We have a large wall map of the region for planning your next trip, relevant guide books you need for skiing and climbing, and possibly a local secret tip or two on where conditions might be good!

Once a month we screen an iconic film in the store. The tickets are free and there is always a lively and vibrant atmosphere. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for movies and other events throughout the year!

The store is located in Strandgata 10 in Åndalsnes, and is open from October through April:
Tuesday - Friday: 15:00 - 19:00
Saturday: 10:00 - 16:00
Sunday & Monday: Closed
